My Life

By Falk Leinert

  1. Frankfurt am Main

    January 17, 2007

I was born on January 17, 2007 in Frankfurt am Main, in the heart of Europe and in a city regarded as the center of German finance and, to a good extent, of European finance as well. My father studied economics and runs a payment processing company, so I came into contact with economic thinking early on.

  2. Erasmusschule Offenbach

    2013 to 2017

I started school in August 2013 at the Erasmusschule Offenbach. Lessons were taught in three languages, so I grew up in an international environment from an early age. I have long since forgotten my Spanish, but what remained is the natural habit of thinking in several languages and cultures.

  3. Leibnizschule

    From 2017

With the move to the Leibnizschule, my curiosity about the world grew, about its history and geopolitics, its peoples and its cultures. I began looking for the larger connections in politics, economics, art and architecture, and these became the interests that still accompany me today.

  4. Friedenskirche Offenbach

    October 2022

In October 2022 I was confirmed at the Friedenskirche Offenbach. Before that and for many years afterwards, I ran the technology behind the services, accompanied confirmation groups and helped wherever support was needed. I was an active part of the congregation and always enjoyed it.

  5. Oxford and London

    August 2023

In August 2023 I was on my own in an English-speaking country for the first time, spending two weeks in Oxford and visiting London as well. I found my feet right away and noticed how naturally life in another language and setting came to me. It would not be the last time.

  6. Training and Discipline

    May 2024

In May 2024 I joined a gym and have trained with great enjoyment ever since. Training has taught me discipline and awakened a deep interest in health, as well as a love for the human body and its potential.

  7. Santa Barbara

    July 2024

In July 2024 I got to know America for the first time. Santa Barbara, a picturesque town on the West Coast with roots in the Spanish colonial era, was my introduction, but it was above all the country itself that impressed me. Because I could see so little of it in those two weeks, my wish to return only grew.

  8. Traveling Through Europe

    Ongoing

Art, architecture, history and the way of life of the continent have taken me across Europe again and again. There is no fixed date for this, because this journey never ends. Every city, every museum and every façade tells a part of the story of the continent I feel I belong to.

  9. Abitur

    June 2026

In June 2026 I completed my Abitur, the German university entrance qualification, at the Leibnizschule, with English and History as my advanced courses. I was glad to leave this chapter behind and ready to take on the world.

  10. Coinsnap

    Present

At Coinsnap, a platform for Bitcoin and Lightning payments, I take care of content and search engine optimization. I review and rework blog posts, maintain image metadata and WordPress content, and contribute to strategy, competitive positioning and the redesign of landing pages. Along the way I have learned to explain complex technology clearly and to structure content so that it gets found and persuades.

  11. BTC Prague

    June 2026

In June 2026 I represented Coinsnap at BTC Prague, the largest Bitcoin event in Europe. For several days I held sales conversations at the booth and built contacts in the global Bitcoin community. It was one of many events I attended on behalf of Coinsnap.

  12. New York

    From September 2026

For a stay abroad, only the United States came into question for me, and there only New York City, the unofficial capital of the world. Nowhere else does everything creative and energetic come together in quite this way. That is why it was clear to me right away that I wanted to spend half a year here.

  13. Maastricht

    Planned for September 2027

My plan is to study Economics and Business Economics in Maastricht starting in September 2027 and to specialize in Emerging Markets. I want to practice my profession as internationally as possible, to be able to work from anywhere and never be tied to one place.
